This notice sets out the terms on which Rimefang products are supplied and this website is made available. Please read it carefully. By purchasing or using our products, you accept the terms below.
1. Product Nature and Intended Use
Rimefang products, including the Emergency Multi-Tool Hammer, are functional tools designed for emergency, outdoor, and general utility purposes. They may contain sharp blades, pointed components, striking surfaces, and other features that can cause serious injury if misused.
Our products are not toys and must be kept out of the reach of children at all times.
Products are intended for their stated purpose only. Any use outside that purpose — including use as a weapon, or in any manner intended to cause harm to a person — is expressly outside the intended use of the product.
2. Age Restriction
Our products are sold only to persons aged 18 or over. By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you are not purchasing on behalf of, or for delivery to, anyone under 18.
3. Compliance with Federal, State, and Local Law — Your Responsibility
Under United States federal law, certain knives — including switchblades — may not be sold in interstate commerce or sent through the mail (15 U.S.C. §§ 1241–1245; 18 U.S.C. § 1716). Beyond federal law, state, county, and city laws governing blade type, blade length, opening mechanism, concealed carry, open carry, possession, and transportation differ substantially from one jurisdiction to another, and they change over time. Certain tools that are lawful in one state may be restricted or prohibited in another.
It is solely your responsibility to verify, before ordering, that the product may lawfully be purchased, possessed, carried, and transported in your state, county, and city, and to comply with all applicable laws and any licensing or registration requirements.
We do not provide legal advice. No statement on this website — including any product description, image, specification, or customer communication — is a representation that a product is lawful in any particular place, or legal advice of any kind.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, and to decline shipment to any destination, where we believe applicable law presents a material risk that the shipment will be seized or found unlawful. Where we do so, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
4. No Guarantee of Outcome in an Emergency
Emergency tools do not guarantee any particular outcome. Rimefang makes no representation that our products will perform in every situation, that they will be accessible or usable when needed, or that their use will prevent injury, escape a hazard, or save life.
The effectiveness of any tool in an emergency depends on circumstances entirely outside our control, including the nature of the emergency, the condition of the product, the environment, and the training and physical condition of the user. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate training before relying on any emergency tool, and for maintaining the product in serviceable condition.
5. Safe Handling, Inspection, and Modification
You are responsible for the safe handling, use, carrying, storage, and maintenance of the product, and for inspecting it before each use.
You must not modify, disassemble, sharpen beyond design tolerances, alter, or repair the product, or use it in any manner not intended by the manufacturer. Any modification, or use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, voids all warranties, representations, and disclaimers, and Rimefang accepts no liability for any loss or injury resulting from it.
6. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that the use of bladed and pointed tools carries inherent risks of injury, including serious injury. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the possession and use of our products, other than risks arising from a defect in the product as supplied.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rimefang and Yiwu Koujun Trading Firm are not liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential — arising from:
- misuse, improper handling, or unsafe storage of the product;
- unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair;
- use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions or outside the product's intended purpose;
- failure to comply with applicable federal, state, or local law, including laws governing the possession or carriage of the product;
- reliance on the product in an emergency;
- normal wear and tear, or the product's natural deterioration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
8. Product Information, Images, and Specifications
We take care to keep product information, specifications, and prices accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all content on this website is complete, accurate, error-free, or up to date.
Product images are for illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual item in colour, finish, or minor detail. Dimensions and weights are approximate. Specifications, packaging, and appearance may change without notice. Product listings do not constitute a warranty or representation of fitness for any particular purpose.
